About this Wine
Tarrawatta is a small, single vineyard estate located in the northern Eden Valley, Barossa, Australia. Traditional old-world winegrowing philosophies are employed to produce world-class red wines that reflect the distinctiveness of the region.
The Ambervale vineyard, located in Moculta, was established in 1968 and is home to Shiraz, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon vines. The vineyard benefits from red-brown loam soils over weathered rock, providing the ideal environment for producing fruit with great intensity, complexity, and balance.
