The Eden Valley's shallow rock, scarce irrigation water, and towering eucalyptus trees have led to vineyards scattered in ideal pockets. Renowned for producing pure, complex, and elegant wines from ancient vines, its soils are mostly sandy loam over quartz gravels and schists.
The Moculta vineyard boasts prized red loams over clay and weathered rock. As surface soils dry, vines delve deep for water and nutrients hidden in aged rock, enriching Ab Eden wines.
The labels reflect this complexity, inspired by the geological diversity beneath vines. Despite trials, the Eden Valley's adversity births brilliance, shaping wines known for freshness, purity, and layered intricacies.
