Primary 3-4 English Course

Building on our Primary 1-2 English course, our Primary 3-4 English program continues to integrate the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum with the American Common Core Standards to continue language fluency. This course is designed to further enhance students’ proficiency and interest in the English language through engaging and interactive learning approaches.

• Comprehensive Language Skills

Students will deepen their understanding of grammar, expand their vocabulary, and refine sentence structure to foster clearer communication while learning inference, literary, contextual skills, important for reading comprehension.

• Interactive and Dynamic Learningrning Activities

Engaging students through interactive games, role-plays, multimedia resources, and collaborative projects to make learning English enjoyable and effective, promoting active participation and skill development.

• Speaking and Pronunciation Skills

Emphasis on developing clear pronunciation, intonation, and fluency through role-plays, dialogues, and oral presentations, while boosting students’ confidence in verbal expression.

• Reading Development

Encouraging advanced reading skills through a variety of texts including literature, informational articles, and digital content, stimulating critical thinking and broadening cultural awareness.

• Writing Skills Enhancement

Guiding students in honing their creative writing skills through narrative, descriptive, discursive essays, nurturing their ability to express ideas eloquently and cohesively.

• Cultural Exploration

Exploring diverse aspects of English-speaking cultures and traditions through literature studies, thematic projects, and cultural presentations, fostering global awareness and empathy.

Brainywave Lab offers tuition and enrichment programs, with emphasis on fluency and literacy, from Nursery and Kindergarten through Primary and Secondary/High School, specializing in the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) and the American Common Core Standards in English Language Arts/Literacy (ELA) using our own carefully curated and developed material.

We also offer national exam preparations for the Singapore Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE), the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level examination, the Admissions Exercises for International Students (AEIS), the International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP), and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

Our group classes are small, up to 6 students. We also offer 1-on-1 tuition that is catered to each student’s learning ability and pace.
